Clinical Nutrition Spec I

(Part time)

Provides basic nutritional care to patients on assigned patient units and/or in outpatient clinics. Evaluates the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assesses patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans. Instructs patients and caregivers on prescribed nutritional/diet plan. Serves as a resource and educator for health care providers, students, community dietitians and the general public. Develops and revises patient education materials and participates in other nutrition--related publications. Assists in the supervision of the daily work of dietetic technician.

Requirements:  

Current ADA registration as a Registered Dietitian and licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
